Our story
I started baking during COVID, like a lot of people did. Nobody taught me. It was trial and error, batch after batch, until the cookies came out exactly how I wanted them.
My family got the first ones. Then friends. Then friends of friends started asking. I brought a box to every party and kids' event we went to, and every time, someone asked where they could get more.
Every cookie is 6 ounces and made with simple ingredients. If an ingredient comes in organic, like the butter, flour, and eggs, that's what I use. The vanilla I make myself. And the banana bread is organic. People tell me it's the best they've ever had.
Lauren's Lemon is named after one of my closest friends. My favorite is the S'mores. My husband's is the Black and White.
After enough friends and family pushed me to do it, SemiSweet is finally open. Made with love, in my kitchen in Orange County. I hope you love them as much as they do.
